The high‑level event, facilitated and led by His Excellency Levan S. Dzhagaryan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Maldives, marks a significant moment in the diplomatic calendar, recognizing the “impeccable service” provided by Fauzy since his appointment as Honorary Consul.
 
The recognition was formalized at the January 22 function hosted by Consul General Aleksei Idamkin, where Ambassador Dzhagaryan presented the ‘For Cooperation’ medal—awarded by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov—to Honorary Consul Ali Fauzy in acknowledgment of his efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
